This week clearly goes to IBM and their amazing announcements. Early 2023 we will have available the Osprey QPU with 433 qubits plus other goodies that will help push the industry forward. The other big eclipse was Xanadu with their series C funding round of $100M becoming a Quantum Unicorn. Fujitsu launches their hybrid HPC/Quantum platform that promises to link those hybrid approaches (as we’ve said many times, Quantum has more similarities with HPC than traditional computing).
